Workout 1 Week 1
The first workout of week 1 consists of the flexibility fitness component. More specifically, dynamic stretches. Dynamic stretches are stretches done before workouts. In this case, I followed a YouTube video called "5 Minutes Active/Dynamic Warm-Up Stretch" by a channel named Juice & Toya. The video will display various dynamic stretches repeated multiple times for flexibility gain. This stretching is repeated multiple times across the week before starting new workouts.
Quick Summary:
I start off with various dynamic stretches concerning shoulder/arm extension. Then I move onto a combination of stretches extending my heels, my calves, and my arms. I continue with stretches focusing on my balance where I stretch my calves/knees and my arms. I move onto side-to-side stretches (leg stretches) to improve flexibility in my joints in my leg area. Then a variation of a previous stretch, this time, while taking the knee and while stretching the knee by moving my torso forward, I then raise my arms to stretch them. I finish off with a series to knee to chest dynamic stretches to work on my hamstring and glutes.
